Every MADE IN GREEN-labelled product has a unique ID code to allow traceability along the supply chain. This information can be found by entering the product ID at www.madeingreen.com
Klopman, the label owner, can provide the MADE IN GREEN (MIG) label to the garment makers to be used ONLY as a marketing tool in their catalogues to promote Klopman fabric. The garment maker doesn’t have to be certified.
Garments can be assigned the MADE IN GREEN label as a marketing tool in the catalogue to promote the fabric only if the garment is made entirely with Klopman fabric labelled MADE IN GREEN.
Garments cannot be promoted as MADE IN GREEN if manufactured with multiple fabrics coming from different suppliers, even if one of them (eg Klopman) has the MIG label. All fabrics used must be recognised as MIG.
Garments can be labelled and promoted as MADE IN GREEN when the garment maker is also STeP certified.
The label is valid for one year.
