WE-AR RESPONSIBLE

At the heart of our innovation, we are pleased to present our textile solutions crafted with eco-conscious materials like Recycled Polyester and TENCEL™ Lyocell Fibre.

If you are looking for the perfect blend, our fabrics offer not only superior quality but also a commitment to reducing environmental impact.

FABRICS MADE WITH RECYCLED POLYESTER

Polyester is now the most widely used fibre for workwear and uniforms worldwide. As a pioneering and eco-friendly textile company, we produce fabrics using high-quality recycled polyester yarn made from recycled materials, such as plastic bottles.

Using PET clear plastic bottles as raw material means making ethical, sustainable use of thousands of tonnes of waste plastic that might otherwise end up in landfill. Fabrics made with recycled polyester maintain all the performance characteristics you would expect from Klopman workwear fabrics. Recycled polyester fabric also helps us work towards a more sustainable world and demonstrates real respect for our environment.

Last year our fabrics made with recycled polyester helped recycled 26,000,000 plastic bottles.

Fabrics made with TENCEL™

Klopman fabrics made with TENCEL™ Lyocell fibers.
TENCEL™ Lyocell fibers are derived from the natural raw material wood. They are produced in a closed loop process which recovers 99.8% of the solvent – resulting in close-to-zero wastage.

Fabrics made with TENCEL™ Lyocell fibres in combination with recycled polyester yarn guarantee comfort, image and durability, while contributing to better care for the planet and its future.

How is Lyocell made?

TENCEL™ Lyocell is known for its innovative closed loop production process. Wood pulp is transformed into cellulosic fibers, while more than 99.8% of the solvent are recovered and fed back into the loop, resulting in close-to-zero wastage. According to the Higg Materials Sustainability Index (Higg MSI), TENCEL™ Lyocell has a significantly lower environmental impact than generic lyocell in the categories of abiotic depletion of fossil fuels (up to 39%), global warming (up to 53%), water consumption (up to 69%) and eutrophication (up to 60%).*

TENCEL™ fibers with certified contributions to climate actions

All TENCEL™ Lyocell fibers we use are ClimatePartner certified.
This is part of Lenzing’s bespoke climate action plan, which assesses the carbon footprint of the fibers, sets targets and implements measures to reduce emissions, supports verified climate projects, and fosters transparency along the supply chain.*
